The proprietor of a Texas restaurant apologized after Trump Jr. shared three images of himself posing and cringing with a cookie cake frosted within the “Hope” fashion of former President Obama’s marketing campaign posters. In one of many photographs, the president’s eldest son posed with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
Trump Jr. tagged the situation of proprietor Stephan Courseau’s Dallas restaurant “Le Bilboquet” within the submit, which went viral after he posted it on Sunday.
“With pals like these… some good pals determined that whereas my birthday just isn’t for two weeks that they’d get me an early 40th birthday cake. And what birthday is full with out an Obama cake? I figured it was so good that I must share it with Ted,” Trump Jr. captioned the Instagram submit.
Courseau made a follow-up submit Monday on Instagram apologizing for Trump Jr.’s images and clarifying what he referred to as “unlucky circumstances.”
The submit has since been taken down, however initially mentioned:
